Kaleidoscope was developed over the course of many years, by the strategy and analytics team at the gaming agency, SMP Communications, Corp. As far back as the late 90’s they were utilizing property databases to rate players for targeted, direct incentive marketing strategies.

The team recognized that the more verified data they could layer into the data warehouse, the better their strategic recommendations would become. Understanding the known player’s attributes and attitudes became a focus point, but they were unable to find an affordable means to query patrons.

With the wide acceptance and usage of the internet, their medium was finally available so they tapped the expertise of talented database administrators and program developers to deliver Kaleidoscope as a cost-effective means of communication and information collection through micro websites.
